Kim M. Dare PT, Cert MDT, Director and owner of The Physical Therapy Connection, Inc. has practiced in the Wilmington area for over 25 years. She received her degree in physical therapy from the University of Pennsylvania and has extensive post graduate training in the field of manual orthopedic physical therapy. Her integrative assessment and treatment approach have been influenced by the teachings of Cyriax, Maitland, Mulligan and McKenzie.

Kim is also a credentialed therapist in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine. This unique method of rehabilitation has been found in studies to be superior in relieving back and neck pain, restoring function and preventing future episodes of pain.

Kim has completed all of the course work required for certification in the evidence-based Maitland-Australian approach to the clinical management of spinal and extremity conditions. The Maitland-Australian is world renowned and the corner stone of modern day evidence-based orthopedic manual therapy.

Golf enthusiasts can enhance swing performance and remain injury free. Kim received training as a golf performance enhancement specialist from Paul Calloway PT, a former physical therapist for the PGA tour and H.J. Ferrante PT, a certified manual therapist and golf fitness consultant to Pebble Beach Golf Academy.

Mike attended the University of Delaware for both his undergraduate and graduate education, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science, and in 2005 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has over 10 years of experience as a physical therapist, and has been an athletic trainer since 2003.

Clinically, Mike enjoys treating a variety of sports and orthopedic injuries, and is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute as a Level III Golf Fitness/Medical Professional. He is also certified in the Graston Technique, the Functional Movement Screen, and Functional Dry Needling.

Mike has been fortunate enough to work with a number of National and Olympic level athletes through various organizations. From 2007 to 2011 he helped to cover USA Baseball’s annual Tournament of Stars in Cary, NC, and in July 2008, he was selected as the Athletic Trainer for the 18U National Team, accompanying them to Alberta, Canada for the Junior World Championships.

In 2011, Mike spent 2 weeks at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado as part of the USOC’s Sports Medicine program working with resident athletes, as well as serving on staff for the Dave Schultz Memorial International Wrestling Tournament. Also in 2011, Mike began working with USA Diving, serving as Head Athletic Trainer at the AT&T National Diving Championships held in Los Angeles, California. Since then he has traveled with Team USA to FINA events in Rostock, Germany; Gatineau, Canada; Guadalajarra, Mexico; Monterrey, Mexico, Iowa City, Iowa, and also to the Junior World Diving Championships in Adelaide, Australia.

Mike and his wife Ashleigh live in Pennsylvania with their children Ella and Brennan, and dog Tucker.

Brad Wallace PTA

Brad earned his Associates Degree in the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Delaware Technical Community College in 2005. He has more than 10 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

His clinical interests include sports medicine, geriatrics and general orthopedic conditions.

His other interests include film, art, photography, traveling, weight training, sports and spending time with his wife Anna and boxer buddy, “Eastwood”.


Marie Snyder, Office Manager

Marie has over 20 years of experience in the medical and insurance billing fields. Marie attends numerous continuing education courses and seminars to stay abreast of the ever-changing healthcare scene. She feels the best part of her job is getting to know the patients and putting that extra effort and time in for them when there is an insurance problem. She and her husband reside in Maryland with their dogs and cats.
